What is it
Inertization through nitrogen is a practice that ensures safety of pipeline and makes the working environment safe. This intervention is required when intended to let a pipeline rest for a long period after it has been used, and in general to maintain it in a non-stressful condition. Such intervention is also required when a maintenance intervention is needed so that welding or cutting can be freely performed on the pipeline structure without compromise for safety.
